Kirbie Crowe, Director, Membership and Special Events of Upstate Forever in Greenville, SC, recently commented on Flicks For Thought, a web site produced by Shafer & Huguley.

“The Flicks for Thought website helped take the film series to a whole new level in 2010. Although the series had been around for four years, we had trouble consistently attracting an audience of more than about 30. Once the website and online ticketing were in place for this year’s series, it became extremely easy to publicize the series through our website and emails as well as social media outlets. Consequently we saw a dramatic increase in attendance, with 3 of the 4 screenings filled beyond the theater’s capacity of 65 people. Additionally, we saw more young people at the screenings, which I also attribute in great part to the ease of purchasing tickets online through the film series website. I’m excited to grow the series further in 2011 with the help of the website!”
