Gaines has experience working in account management for McCann-Erickson (Atlanta, Dallas and Houston offices), providing client services for Coca-Cola USA and Texas Instruments. In addition, Gaines worked with DMB&B’s Atlanta and Greenville offices, Leslie Advertising and Goudelock Advertising. He graduated from the College of Journalism at the University of South Carolina in 1976 with an emphasis in advertising and public relations. Gaines is married and has three children. His role includes strategic planning, account management and supervision of branding activities including creative development, copy, broadcast supervision, media, interactive and public relations initiatives.
