A new video about the Army Air and Missile Defense Command’s Homeland Defense mission has been written, directed and produced by Shafer & Huguley. The video explains the 263^rd Army Air and Missile Defense Command’s (263^rd AAMDC) role in defending our country against domestic terrorist attracts. 263^rd AAMDC serves as a supporting command to US Army North (USARNORTH) for all Army Air Defense Artillery (ADA) missions as required to detect, deter, divert, and if necessary defeat air and cruise missile threats to the Continental United States (CONUS) to include National Capital Region Integrated Air Defense System (NCR-IADS). Additionally, 263^rd AAMDC serves as Theater Army Air and Missile Defense Coordinator (TAAMDCOORD) to ARNORTH JFLCC for planning, coordination, integration, and execution to defeat or destroy Short and Medium Range Ballistic Missile threats to the NORTHCOM Combatant Commander’s designated priorities.
