Shafer Huguley Supports SC Skin Cancer Awareness

Shafer Huguley worked with David Moore, founder of STOP Redd Nex & No More Cancer Inc. In 2004, Moore’s mother was diagnosed with stage-2 melanoma. Stemming from that early discovery that saved her life, Moore became an avid sunscreen advocate.

During the summer of 2011, Moore’s father suggested that a non-profit organization for fundraising purposes was needed. Moore proceeded to study IRS tax forms, and No More Cancer Inc., was registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, with Redd Nex being a specific campaign of the organization.

Gaines Huguley at Shafer Huguley helped Moore through this process and introduced him to Julie Speer who brought the Redd Nex character to life.
