Shafer Huguley Helps Map Textum’s Future

Shafer Huguley recently completed planning for the 2010-2011 branding and marketing communications strategic plan for Textum. Planning began with two, half-day planning sessions moderated by Shafer Huguley partners Jeff Shafer and Gaines Huguley. Planning utilized the Shafer Huguley 20-step, MAPS process (Marketing and Planning Strategy). In the weeks following the planning session, a strategic branding and marketing communications plan was developed and approved by Textum.
 
The approved plan strategy calls for Textum to place greater emphasis and focus on their commitment and expertise in providing technical solutions for product designers, fabricators of composite structures and manufacturers of open weave scrims.
 
Additionally, the new strategic plan encourages the company to embrace change, innovative thinking beyond conventional boundaries, collaborative partnerships and a strong commitment to innovative solutions.
 
In the coming months, Shafer Huguley will create and produce new corporate branding materials including a new website, corporate brochure, video, print advertising campaign, public relations program and marketing collaterals for use in sales presentations and tradeshows.
 
Textum, located in Belmont, NC, is a manufacturer of engineered specialty fabrics, technical fabrics, and composites constructed from metal, glass, polymer, ceramic and natural fibers.
